Trained in Islamic Psychology and Islamic Psychotherapy, there is an option for clients to access an Islamic Counselling service from a Muslim Counsellor.
 
Committed to offering a service which is welcoming to all backgrounds, races, religions and cultures in a supportive, inclusive and non-discriminatory manner. As a Muslim counsellor working within a private service, you can choose to work with a Muslim/ Asian counsellor if this choice is not available to you from your local / NHS / GP services.
   
Experienced of working within a University student counselling service, local voluntary/private counselling services and within a domestic violence support service.

Presents and facilitates counselling training, CPD workshops and conferences both at the Leicester Centre for Psychodynamic Counselling and independently across the UK. Available for in-house training needs.

Myira was a Trustee on the Board of Governors at BACP (2016-2019).



Clinical Supervision (Leicester and Online)

 
Myira is a qualified Supervisor and qualified Online Supervisor, offering supervision via email, Zoom and telephone.
Supervision is available to trainee & qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Supervision can be accesed either face to face in Leicester or online via Zoom.
Supervision fees are £60 per hour (or £90 for 1.5 hours of monthly supervision).
