Counselling in Leicester is available for adults, couples, children and young people (teenagers).

The counselling offered is an anti-oppressive counselling and therapy approach, based upon the Working Within Diversity model and practice of anti-oppressive counselling and therapy.

An Islamic Counselling Service (Muslim Counselling) is optional for counselling in Leicester (and online).

What is Counselling?

Counselling provides an opportunity to explore a personal difficulty or concern in a confidential and supportive environment. This may include expressing feelings that are painful, which many of us experience during certain times in our lives. When this happens, it can be difficult to stay positive and cope with everyday life.

Counselling can help with a wide range of issues, to support you through a difficulty or to help explore and better understand a personal issue or concern.

Counselling offers a non-judgemental, safe and confidential space with sensitivity and understanding towards you.

Counselling is available for adults, couples, children and young people.

Couples Counselling

What is Couples Counselling?

Couples counselling (also known as relationship counselling, marriage guidance or couples therapy) provides an opportunity for the couple to explore their concerns, difficulties or issues in a safe and confidential space.

It allows each partner to explore and find better understanding of their feelings, concerns and any issues in the relationship as well as gaining deeper understanding of their partner's perspective. It helps the couple to develop better communication and understanding between them.

Couples counselling is offered via face to face sessions in Leicester.

How much does Couples Counselling cost?

£120 per session (50 minutes).

Clinical Supervision (Leicester and Online) for trainee and qualified Counsellors / Psychotherapists.

Myira is a BACP Accredited Counsellor and qualified Supervisor.

Supervision is available to trainee & qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

Supervision can be accessed either face to face in Leicester or online via Zoom.

Supervision fees are £80 per hour (or £120 for 1.5 hours / £160 for 2 hours of monthly supervision).
