Colour Analysis - Tonal or Seasonal System?
Using the Tonal System
Your colouring is unique. Your colour analysis should be too.
When people discover I'm a Colour Consultant, they're often surprised to learn there isn't just one approach to colour analysis.
At Colour & Identity, I use the Tonal Colour System.
Rather than asking you to fit into a category, the tonal system looks at the qualities that naturally make your colouring unique - whether your dominant (and secondary and tertiary colouring) is Light, Deep, Warm, Cool, Soft or Clear.
You may have heard of the Seasonal Colour System, which places people into Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter. It's a well-known and helpful approach to colour analysis.
I choose to use the tonal system because I love how personalised and flexible it feels.
It starts with you.
For my clients, this often means:
A colour palette that's personal and easy to use.
Greater confidence when choosing clothing, make-up, accessories and hijabs.
More flexibility when shopping and building a wardrobe.
A deeper understanding of why certain colours work so beautifully.
At Colour & Identity, colour analysis isn't about labels or rules.
It's about understanding your natural colouring so you can make confident choices that reflect your identity, personal style and self-expression.
Because the goal isn't to fit into a season.
It's to discover the colours that help you feel most like yourself.
If you're curious to discover your personalised colour palette, I'd love to welcome you to my Signature Experience: Full Colour Analysis Consultation.
